For many years the women of St Thomas’s have offfered and continue to offer sewing lessons to Domestic Workers for the grand sum of R5 per lesson!  Classes are held every Wednesday afternoon from 2 – 4 pm during the school terms and at the end of October there is a wonderful graduation ceremony when the students receive certificates and display/model the articles they have made.  Teachers are always needed so if you have the time to offer this is a wonderful opportunity to use your gift and teach a very valuable skill – please contact the parish office for more details.
