Confirmation is the sacrament which brings fulfillment to the sacrament of baptism.  The candidate is now able to profess the Christian faith in person and to be empowered to live the Christian life.

Every year Confirmation preparation takes place at St Thomas’s.  Depending on the requests for Confirmation the teaching happens in groups for adults and teenagers.  Wonderfully experienced teachers take the candidates through the 38 week course prepared by the Diocese.  It is always exciting to welcome the visiting Bishop to St Thomas’s for the Confirmation Service in October/November.

Anyone wishing to be confirmed into the Anglican church should contact the parish office to put their name down to do the Confirmation course.
